Fathers Taken Grants

APPLICATIONS ARE CURRENTLY OPEN. We are proud to partner with Dove Men+Care on the Father’s Taken Fund, awarding grants to immediate family members of Black men killed by law enforcement in the United States. The Fathers Taken grant honors both Black fathers who were taken from their families too soon, and those from whom the opportunity to be a father was taken.Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and funding decisions are made once per month. We use an online application system and applications must be fully completed in order to be submitted for review.Eligibility: immediate family members (spouse or partner, child, parent, or sibling) of African-American or Black men killed by law enforcement in the United States of America (including, but not limited to, police, state troopers, correctional officers, etc.)If selected, the Foundation will award the applicant a one-time grant in an amount to be determined. Funds shall be used by the grantee to meet personal needs as a result of the loss of a loved one to police brutality. > Click here to apply
