About
The Cordale Q. Handy In Remembrance of Me Foundation supports families who have lost children to police and community violence.
Kimberly Handy-Jones started the foundation after burying her son, Cordale, who was killed by St. Paul police officers on March 15, 2017. Her mission is to:- provide headstones for families who have lost children to police and community violence
- love and support mothers and fathers whose children have died
- remember and speak the names of the children who died too soon
- fight for justice for the children and families affected by police violence
As of 2022, we have provided 23 headstones and will continue helping many more families in need.

President and Founder
Kimberly Handy-Jones immediately began reaching out to help others after she buried her son, Cordale. She saw the need for so many families who could not afford a headstone for their loved one, and put her fundraising into action.
